Peel the bananas and place in a large bowl. Mash the banana’s until it forms a paste like consistency.
Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl, excluding the oil for frying. Mix until the batter is just combined.
Place oil in a pan, approximately 7.5 cm deep, using a food thermometer heat the oil over high heat until 185 °C. Reduce the heat to medium to avoid burning.
Place spoonful’s of the batter into the pan. Cook until fritters are golden brown, flip and cook until golden brown. Remove from oil, and place on a plate with a paper towel to absorb excess oil. Serve warm.
